- You are receptive to instruction, and want accountability in your life.
- You have a desire to live a monastic lifestyle with other followers of Christ.
- You are willing to examine your life thoroughly, in order to become healthy spiritually, physically, mentally, emotionally, psychologically, and socially.
- You are experiencing an awakening within your spirit, and are in search of a community where you can belong even if you do not yet believe. It would be our desire to share life with you, through which you might gain clarity and understanding of the path God has for you.

You are called to a specific ministry, and they want you to complete this course before you begin ministering with them.
You desire to be on staff Anamchara Ministries.
- Nothing in this life means more, or is more important to you than your relationship with Jesus and His teachings. Matthew 10:37 and Luke 14:26-29.
Our Ministry Model
St. Patrick's Celtic Christianity has its focus on Yeshua (Jesus) who was crucified and rose again, which leads followers in developing relationships through discipleship, and community living. This is lived out through generosity, and gentleness toward all that God has created, and having an awareness of, and the desire to know the mystical nature of God. Mark 4:10-12, Matthew 6:33, Romans 11:20-25
We do this through study of the scriptures, historical texts, and writings of Christian Mystics past and present, which included but are not limited to:
Through accountability and support people grow. We believe the words in Proverbs 27:6 that say, “The wounds of a friend are trustworthy…” often when we love we may have to say tough things to each other. However, when we are willing to truly listen to the counsel of a friend we will be blessed and grow in character. We also believe there is a pattern established, in the New Testament Church of the elder believer teaching the younger. You are assigned your Anamchara (soul friend) during your first week of orientation.
We strive to live at peace with all men realising that we all make mistakes and are growing in character; making it mandatory that we show grace one to another. Romans 12:8
We know that Yeshua (Jesus) spoke of a "renewed commandment" to love one another as He loved us. It will be clear to the world that we are His disciples if we love one another. This is an important part of living the monastic lifestyle with one another. John 13:34, Leviticus 19:18
Recognition of and adherence to boundaries setup within the programme is of utmost importance. A list of those boundaries will be given to you during your first week of orientation. Romans 12:9-10, Ephesians 5:1-2, 5:15-17
Submission to authority is required from all those who are enrolled in the programme, or who are on staff at Anamchara Ministries. Romans 13:1-9
Along with the Commands of Christ Curriculum you will be given character qualities that will coincide with each command. You will be expected to exemplify those qualities in your day to day live while living in the monastery.
It is our prayer that through consistent application of what you are learning you would continue to live as a man or woman of character once you have graduated from the programme.
- Mystical simply means mystery.
We do this through study of the scriptures, historical texts, and writings of Christian Mystics past and present, which included but are not limited to:
- C.S. Lewis
- Evelyn Underhill
- Bernard of Clairvaux
- St. Vincent Ferrer
- St. Francis of Assisi
- Dietrich Bonhoeffer
- William R. Inge
- “The world as it is, is the world as God sees it, not as we see it. Our vision is distorted, not so much by the limits of finitude, as by sin and ignorance. The more we raise ourselves in the scale of being the more our ideas about God and the world correspond to reality.”
